Using photography, and an expanded drawing practice, Rossi explores various ideas around embodied perception, and the experiential relationship with nature and space. Her inquiry and approach to this theme is varied, from abstract geometric minimalism to poetic figurative expression. Her process is intuitive and performative and incorporates various methods of mapping, layering, repetition, choreography, deconstruction and reconstruction. Her works range in medium and scale, from large immersive room painting installations that incorporate visual illusions and anamorphic distortions, to small delicate string or seed drawings.
