Port Phillip Men's Shed Association
Port Phillip Men's Shed Association (PPMSA) welcomes new members and suggestions about activities that may be of interest to you. Email: membership@ppmsa.org.au
Port Phillip Life Activities Club
The club is for over 45s and covers Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, Albert Park, Middle Park, St Kilda and Elwood. Enquire about membership on their website.
Port Melbourne Probus club
Port Melbourne Probus club is for active retirees living in the Port Phillip area. The club meets every fourth Friday morning at the South Melbourne Community Centre, Cnr Park Street and Ferrars Place, South Melbourne where they socialise and listen to a variety of interesting speakers. Events and outings are arranged throughout the year.

St Kilda Probus club
Would you like to go on fascinating day trips in a luxury coach and at the same time make new friends? Then this may be for you.
St Kilda Probus is a social club for active retirees that meets on the first Monday of each month to hear from a variety of guest speakers, and then journeys on the third Monday of the month to places of interest, stopping on the way for a picnic, morning tea and then lunch at pubs.
As well as these activities, the club has a fortnightly Canasta game, group outings to live theatre such as Evita, monthly Sunday lunches, and Christmas in July and real Christmas lunch in December at the Savoy.
All of these at a manageable price!

University of the Third Age - U3A Port Phillip

A free and confidential information and advisory service provided by Council on the Ageing (VIC) for older people, their relatives, friends and the wider community. Services include: housing options and choices including retirement villages, independent living units, hostels (low care facilities), supported residential services and nursing homes (high care facilities). Home based services and home maintenance, health and wellbeing, pensions and concessions, general information on legal and financial matters, lifelong learning opportunities, retirement, support services.

Grassroots Networking Foundation
Provides affordable access to a full range of technology solutions that will encourage the development of an informed civil and democratic society. Many people do not have access to the tools that are essential to full participation in the information age. Koori's, the elderly, the financially disadvantaged, those with disabilities, and residents of some rural regions lack an affordable and accessible telecommunications services. Further, lack of access to affordable hardware, software and support is also an inhibitor to participation.
