Shakespeare Grove Artist Studios

These studios support local visual artists with dedicated workspace for their creativity, collaboration and the growth of their professional practice.

About the studios

The Shakespeare Grove Artist Studios provide workspace for professional visual artists and are one of three artist studio venues supported by the City of Port Phillip.

Located at 2 Spenser Street, St Kilda, near Luna Park, the building previously operated as a lawn bowling club before being vacated in 1998. Today, local artists share the site, situated on the northern tip of the Peanut Farm Reserve, with the VegOut Community Garden.
