Fair Access Club Recognition

Complete the Fair Access Self-Assessment and Action Plan to work towards recognition for supporting women and girls in sport.
The Fair Access Club badge recognises eligible sports and recreation clubs that are taking practical steps to improve opportunities for women and girls in sport.
The badge provides a visible way for clubs to demonstrate their commitment to fairness, inclusion and continuous improvement.
Recognition is available to sports and recreation clubs located within the City of Port Phillip, including those operating within the Albert Park precinct.
How to Achieve Recognition
Follow these simple steps to earn recognition.

Step 1: Complete the Fair Access Self Assessment. Review your club's current practices across areas such as facilities, scheduling, governance and culture.
Step 2: Develop an Action Plan. Identify practical actions that will improve opportunities for women and girls. Existing SSA action plans may be used where they align with Fair Access objectives.
Step 4: Receive recognition. Eligible clubs will receive the Fair Access Club badge in recognition of their commitment to improving opportunities for women and girls in sport.
Step 5: Maintain Recognition Annually. Clubs are asked to provide updates on progress and ongoing commitment to their Action Plan.
