Payment and payment plans

Pay your parking fine online, by phone, at a post office or by post. If you cannot pay the full amount by the due date, you can ask for more time or apply for a payment plan.

Act by the due date on your infringement notice. Please pay or take another available action by the due date to ensure you don't have to pay additional costs or face further enforcement action.
Pay your fine onlineRequest more time or a payment plan

It can take up to two business days after you receive your fine for it to appear in the parking infringement portal.

You do not need an account to:

  • pay a fine
  • view photos of the offence.

You need to create a portal account if you want to:

  • request a review of your fine
  • apply for a payment plan
  • nominate another driver
  • elect to have the matter heard in court.

This account is separate from your My Port Phillip account.

Ways to pay

Online
Wait up to two business days for the fine to appear in the system. Enter the infringement number and offence date shown on your notice.
PhoneWait two business days after receiving the fine. Have your infringement number and credit card ready, then call 03 9058 6611 between 8 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday.
At a post officeTake your infringement notice to an Australia Post outlet and pay in person.
By postSend a cheque or money order to Port Phillip Parking Services, GPO Box 632, Melbourne VIC 3001. Do not send cash.

Get help to pay your fine

If you cannot pay the full amount by the due date, you can ask for:

  • more time to pay
  • a payment plan with fortnightly or monthly instalments
  • a payment arrangement managed by Fines Victoria.

The minimum repayment amount depends on the total amount included in your payment plan.

Make every scheduled payment by its due date. If you miss a payment or do not pay the full amount by the agreed date, you may have to pay extra fees and we may take further enforcement action.

You may not be eligible for a payment plan if:

  • you have defaulted on a previous payment plan
  • your fine has progressed to Fines Victoria
  • your fine has progressed to the Magistrates’ Court.

If you have a concession card

Include a copy of your current concession card with your application.

The accepted cards are:

  • Centrelink Health Care Card
  • Pensioner Concession Card
  • Department of Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card.

How instalment payments work

You can make fortnightly or monthly repayments.

You cannot use the following payment methods for instalments:

  • direct debit
  • electronic funds transfer
  • Australia Post
  • cash
  • BPAY
  • Centrepay.
