Hiring a City of Port Phillip venue

Are you looking to hire a space for your next function, meeting, conference, workshop, class or community gathering? Then we have the venue for you!

We have 13 community centres and two town halls with over 40 spaces available for hire, ranging from a capacity of three to 1000 people. Finding the perfect venue has never been so easy.

You can book a space by:

  2. Selecting your preferred venue and room.
  3. Following the link to our online booking platform.
  4. Selecting an available time for hire.
  5. Submitting your booking request and securing the space.

Town Hall Hire Subsidy Scheme

Eligible groups and organisations can apply for a subsidy to support the hiring of the St Kilda Town Hall and Port Melbourne Town Hall Auditoriums. 

Applications for 2026/27 will open in soon and will remain open until all funding is gone.
