Support and advice for young people

Our Middle Years and Youth Services team can help with advice, referrals and support. Find out what help is available.

What support is available?

Middle Years and Youth Workers provide young people and their families advice, referrals, and support to young people aged eight to twenty-five years who live, work, or play in the City of Port Phillip. A Middle Years and Youth Worker can provide advice on topics such as:

  • education and training
  • employment
  • alcohol and drugs
  • mental health
  • legal issues
  • service navigation.

Our Middle Years and Youth Workers can offer one-to-one sessions with young people, with up to five sessions over three months.

Am I eligible?

You must meet the following criteria:

  • Live, work or be connected to the City of Port Phillip
  • A young person aged eight to twenty-five years

How do I get help?
