Alan Cotton

Alan has an interest in the linear elements of architecture and textured surfaces and how light illuminates these elements.

He is currently investigating symbolic imagery and ideas with the combination of photography, textiles, sewing, sculpture and painting.

Cotton previously worked as a sample cutter, costumier, and art director, and has incorporated these skills to reimagine the purpose of tactile and visual mediums.
