St Kilda Uniting Church

A community of faith, the St Kilda Uniting Church Parish Mission strives to do what is just, to show constant love and to walk humbly with God. We are a community shaped by commitment and curiosity. We are more interested in questions than answers.

We are committed to exploring what it means to be part of a Progressive Christian Community. A community that respects the journey of the Church through the ages but values the work of contemporary scholars in the fields of biblical interpretation, theology and history etc. (see separate listing for what constitutes a progressive church)

And while we are asking those sorts of questions, we are committed to building a safe place for worship and connection. A community of faithful people who worship on Sundays and do other interesting things during the week. A faith community that cherishes its individuals and their connections to different kinds of communities that enrich our lives.
