Statement on Israel attacks

    The City of Port Phillip is devastated by the continuing loss of innocent lives in Israel and Gaza.

    We know that many in our community have loved ones in the region and we can’t imagine the angst of waiting to hear they are safe at the end of each day.

    We know that the Port Phillip community is strong and that our residents will turn towards each other in showing care, compassion, and empathy, regardless of their cultural background.

    We stand together in hoping these tensions resolve as quickly as possible before further innocent lives are taken.
