Rawkus Live! All Ages Gig Series
RAWKUS Live is an all-ages gig series run by our Youth Events Committee in collaboration with Rock Academy Australia, bringing together the best up and coming young bands to perform in the iconic Espy Basement.
Date: Sunday 14 September
Time: 1pm to 4pm
Location: Hotel Esplanade Basement, St Kilda

The lineup features the electrifying sounds of new local band Distasteful Microwaves, ready to deliver an unforgettable performance. You'll also be captivated by The Peppermints, a dynamic indie duo bringing dramatic, romantic sounds that will sweep you off your feet.
Also stepping into the spotlight is young indie solo artist Jemima Rae, whose unique voice and heartfelt lyrics are sure to resonate. Adding to the energy is the Sam Curtis Collective, brilliantly playing infectious roots rock that will have you grooving.
And turning up the volume, Peninsula rockers Sledgehammer Honey are set to unleash the sound of the Peninsula with their high-energy performance.

School Holiday Activities For Teens
Join the youth services team this Spring holidays for an action-packed program. Check out the full list of events below:
Sun 21 September - Style & Switch Youth Clothing Swap Festival @ St Kilda Town Hall, 1 to 5pm.
Bring your pre-loved clothes to swap, check out live music from Pepper La Floyd and Elo and the Shinkicks, and vibe to DJ sets throughout the day. For ages 12 to 25.
Thu 25 September - Screenprinting for teens @ St Kilda Library, 2 to 4pm. For ages 12 to 18.
Tue 30 September - French Impressionism Exhibition @ National Gallery of Victoria, 11am to 2pm. For ages 12 to 25.
Fri 3 October - Rock climbing @ Hardrock, 2pm to 4.30pm. For ages 12 to 18.
Fri 3 October - Library Lock In @ Emerald Hill Library, 6pm to 8pm. For ages 12 to 18.

Mondays - St Kilda Teen Takeover
Meet new friends and get stuck into baking, photography, games, trampolining and more! For grades 7 to 9.
When: 4 to 6 pm - Every Monday during school term
Where: St Kilda Adventure Playground
Cost: FREE

Thursdays - Games Club
Join our weekly gaming club and connect with other young gamers. Battle it out in an epic Mario Kart or Smash Bros. Tournament or give our VR headsets a go! Suitable for grades 7 to 12.
When: Every Thursday - 4 to 5.45 pm
Where: Emerald Hill Library, South Melbourne
