Below are some examples of infrastructure upgrades that have been delivered as a direct result of the Healthy Tracks program.

Danks Street and Withers Street, Albert Park

There were limited crossing points for Albert Park College students along Danks Street. The intersection has been upgraded with raised pedestrian crossings with markings to provide students a clear and safe point to cross.

Richardson Street and Bridport Street West, Albert Park

The roundabout did not have enough safe crossing facilities and has been upgraded with zebra crossings so Albert Park Primary School students can get to school safely.

Glen Huntly Road and Normandy Road, Elwood

This intersection is wide and exposed students to traffic for longer than required. The intersection has been upgraded with a raised pedestrian crossing with a yellow top to make the journey to St Columba's Primary School safer.
