Play Street program

With a focus on encouraging social inclusion, inter-generational play and safe spaces, Council will soon be announcing our Play Street program.

A Play Street involves the temporary closure of a street to recreate it as a public space, encouraging connection and play through a dedicated COVID-19 safe program.

If you're interested in closing a street or utilising public space for your business, please email businesses@portphillip.vic.gov.au with as much detail as possible about your plans.
