Location

49, 49a and 51 Pakington Street, St Kilda

Cost

$800,000 Construction Cost. The project is supported by the Victorian Government

Milestones

Why are we doing this?

We are looking to expand the availability of public open space in the Balaclava and St Kilda areas to provide residents and visitors more opportunities to engage in green open space.

Council’s Places for People: Public Space Strategy 2022 – 2032 identified Pakington Street Reserve as a park that needs to be expanded due to the lack of open space in Balaclava.
This Project is supported by the Victorian Government.

The impact

Upgrading the park will ensure continued support of a diverse range of uses and functions, while providing a safe, welcoming environment that supports the physical, social and mental health of the community.
