National Homelessness Week: Monday 3 August to Sunday 9 August

Published 9 July 2026
National Homelessness Week is a chance to help people better understand homelessness, challenge misconceptions, share what works to address the issue, and highlight the experiences of local people who have lived through it.

From Monday 3 to Sunday 9 August, City of Port Phillip is offering free activities to help educate the community and encourage open and informed conversations.

We want to inspire everyone to play a part in creating a fairer, more inclusive society, where everyone has access to safe and secure housing.

How you can get involved:

If you are interested in attending an event, please contact Housing Partnerships Officer Tanya Cale to register your attendance: tanya.cale@portphillip.vic.gov.au.
