North St Kilda Children's Centre
North St Kilda Children’s Centre is a 75-place centre with five rooms where children participate in education and care programs, grouped by age and developmental level.
All Council child care and kindergarten centres are staffed by a team of professional early years qualified educators.
Centre tours
To maintain the health and safety of children and staff in our centres, due to COVID-19, tours will not be conducted until further notice. However, if you are offered a place for 2021, next steps will be discussed with families when the offer is made.
Nutrition
Children are provided with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea with all dietary requirements and food intolerances carefully catered for.
Menus have been assessed by the Healthy Eating Advisory Service to ensure they meet Australian Guidelines and are displayed weekly at the centre. Families are very welcome to provide feedback.
These health initiatives are part of our centre's Achievement Program to achieve various health and wellbeing priorities.
Parent Groups
Each Council Early Childhood Education and Care centre has a Parent Group (PG). To join the North St Kilda PG, contact the centre coordinator.
Public holidays
North St Kilda Children's Centre is closed on all public holidays and over the Christmas and New Year period.
Families are not charged if a service is closed due to COVID-19.
