Did you miss our last Council meeting? Here’s a recap of what was discussed.

The 6 May 2026 Council Meeting was held at St Kilda Town Hall.

Council acknowledged and thanked the community for its feedback on the proposed amendment and formally adopted the Community Amenity (Amendment) Local Law 2026, giving effect to updated powers and processes to manage encampments on Council land. The resolution authorised publication of the new local law in accordance with legislative requirements, endorsed new operational procedures for authorised officers from 1 June 2026, and approved the execution of an updated operating protocol with Victoria Police to support its implementation.
