To address parking pressures in our growing city, Resident parking permit areas came into effect on Thursday 1 July 2021.

If you live on a street that is a boundary of a Residential Parking Area, you will be able to park on both sides of the street, as long as you are still within the City of Port Phillip and not in a neighbouring municipality or residing along the foreshore.
Your permit will be marked with a '(B)' indicating you are on a boundary and allowed to park on both sides of the street you live on within the area marked on your permit.
