Pay, appeal or request more time for a parking fine
You have 28 days to pay a parking fine from the date it was issued.
You can pay your parking fine:
- at Australia Post (as soon as you get it)
- online (3 business days after getting the fine)
- by phone (3 business days after getting the fine)
- cheque made to Port Phillip Parking Services and sent to GPO 632, Melbourne VIC 3001
If you can’t pay the fine by the due date you can ask for an extension or payment plan. Whatever you decide, do it before the due date. Find out what happens to overdue fines.
Pay online
You can pay your fine online 3 business days after getting it.
Please ensure you enter the infringement number followed by the offence date.
Phone us to pay
You can phone us to pay your fine 3 business days after receiving it.
Have your notice number (as shown on the infringement notice) and credit card ready. Call 03 9058 6611 between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Apply for a payment plan
If you are unable to make a payment by the due date or require payment in instalments, you may request:
- an extension of time
- pay in instalments via council*
- refer your matter to Fines Victoria if you have an existing arrangement
*Please note, the minimum payment amount is $20 which can be offered in fortnightly or monthly repayments.
Additional fees and further enforcement may incur if you do not take action before the due date of your infringement.
If you are a concession card holder, please ensure you provide a copy at the time of application. We accept your Centrelink Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or a Department of Veteran's Affairs Pensioner Concession Card.
