Over the next 35 years, Fishermans Bend is expected to be home to approximately 80,000 residents and up to 80,000 jobs across five precincts.

Three precincts are located in the City of Port Phillip:

  • Wirraway
  • Sandridge

Two precincts are located in the City of Melbourne:

  • Lorimer
  • Employment Precinct

Council continues to work in partnership with the Victorian Government's Fishermans Bend Taskforce and the Department of Job, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) to deliver these future communities.

A draft Precinct Plan for Montague is being prepared by the Fishermans Bend Taskforce.
