Serge Thomann served as a Port Phillip Councillor from 2008–2016, including three years as Deputy Mayor, and was re‑elected in 2024. An independent, he champions local government free from major party influence. He represents French citizens across Australia, Fiji and PNG, earning recognition from the French President. With experience at L’Oréal and as a photographer, he brings creativity and strategic insight. Serge founded unChain St Kilda and helped drive projects such as the St Kilda skate park, Palais Theatre restoration and early Pride Centre vision. He focuses on community safety, housing, sustainable transport and transparent, community-led planning.
