RSL provides a support network and community for veterans and their families. You can find an RSL sub-branch in most Australian communities. They play an integral role in connecting veterans to services, developing social networks, enhancing support services and providing practical support.
The St Kilda RSL Club features a public bar on Acland Street, the Members Bar and Heroes Lounge Bar on the first floor as well as MEMO Music Hall operated in a partnership between the RSL and the Memo Music in the rear grand hall.
The street-front restaurant is currently run independently. The building's 12 apartments are home to returned service men and women and their dependents and are managed by the Memorial Hall Trustees.
