Applications for regular hire bookings for 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022 are now open and will close on Sunday 16 May 2021.
Our community facilities are available for use and hire by members of the public to support a variety of social, recreational, cultural, leisure and lifelong learning activities and services.
We enjoy seeing these facilities used in ways that foster community connection and support participation, health and wellbeing.
Regular hire bookings for 2021/22
Applications for regular hire bookings for our community facilities for 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022 are now open.
You may notice a few changes to our application process this year. COVID-19 restrictions have eased since the last application period, but there are still some Victorian Government requirements in place which change how the hire process operates. These requirements include:
- A reduction in venues and spaces available for hire (available venues can be found in our Regular Hire Application Package document)
- A reduction in space capacity limits and group sizes in line with Victorian Government regulations
- The prioritisation of Council’s COVID-19 support services, core functions and Council-funded initiatives
- Increased requirements on hirers in support of COVID-Safe operations, in line with Victorian Government Regulations
All hire applications will be assessed in line with the Community Facility Access and Allocation Policy (PDF 36 KB).
Further information about the process can be found in the Regular Hire Application Package for Community Facilities 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022 (PDF 633 KB).
You can also find additional information about venues.
