Clark Street Children's Centre
Clark Street Children’s Centre is a four room, 65-place centre where children participate in education and care programs, grouped by age and developmental level.
All Council child care and kindergarten centres are staffed by a team of professional early years qualified educators.
Centre tours
Please call the centre directly to make an appointment. Parents/guardians wishing to tour a service must produce evidence of COVID double vaccination to centre staff upon arrival before starting the tour. It is recommended that you allow 30 minutes for the tour. Staff will be pleased to answer any questions you may have. Unvaccinated parents/guardians are welcome to participate in a telephone consultation with staff.

Nutrition
Children are provided with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea with all dietary requirements and food intolerances carefully catered for.
Menus have been assessed by the Healthy Eating Advisory Service to ensure they meet Australian Guidelines and are displayed weekly at the centre. Families are very welcome to provide feedback.
These health initiatives are part of our centre's Achievement Program to achieve various health and wellbeing priorities.
Parent Groups
Each Council Early Childhood Education and Care centre has a Parent Group (PG). To join the Clark Street PG, contact the kindergarten teacher.
Public holidays
Clark Street is closed on all public holidays and over the Christmas and New Year period.
Families are not charged if a service is closed due to COVID-19.
