Community bus

The free community bus provides access for all to services throughout the City of Port Phillip. Buses are wheelchair-accessible, great for people who have trouble on public transport services. Bookings are required to travel on the community bus.

The bus service runs along a fixed route, stopping at local libraries, the South Melbourne Market, shopping, medical and community centres.

Our Community Transport Officers can help you get on and off the bus, and assist with loading and unloading of heavy shopping trolleys.

The service operates Monday to Friday (except public holidays) from 9 am until 4.30 pm. Book your ride and hop on at one of many pick-up points at the designated bus stops throughout the municipality.

Bookings are now required to travel on all community buses. Please book at least one day in advance.

To book for your next trip please phone 03 9209 6223
