The 4 March 2026 Council Meeting was held at St Kilda Town Hall. 

Key Decisions from the Council Meeting

  • Endorsement of the Elster Creek Litter Action Plan following community engagement.
  • Noted the City of Port Phillip's submission to the Federal Parliamentary Inquiry into Local Government Funding and Fiscal Sustainability.
  • Resolved to advocate to the Victorian Government for an anti‑hooning trial in the City of Port Phillip, including the use of acoustic noise cameras, partnerships with relevant agencies, and engagement with NSW authorities on the effectiveness of similar trials.
  • Resolved to advocate to candidates in the 2026 Victorian State Government election to commit to delivering priority public, active and mass transport projects across Port Phillip, and to seek formal commitments.
