2024-25 Change Our Game Community Activation Grants Program
Port Philip Women in Sport network
The City of Port Phillip has been successful in receiving $10,000 as part of the 2024-25 Change Our Game Community Activation Grants Program. These grants fund community-based initiatives that enable participation, build capability and celebrate the role of women and girls in sport and active recreation.
A successful application was made to fund education and training opportunities to strengthen capability and leadership in gender equality policy and practice and/or inclusion and representation of women and girls in their sport, club, association or organisation.
This funding will assist with the delivery on actions from the Fair Access in Sport Policy. Specifically, the funding will be used to support and supplement education and professional development associated with women and girls in sport, including the establishment of City of Port Phillip’s Women in Sport Network.
Change Our Game is an initiative of the Office for Women in Sport and Recreation and the Victorian Government.
