Early 2000’s is where you will find me beginning to work with glass. A decade later I graduated with a Master of Arts in Glass from the Royal College of Art in London.

I have participated in a wide range of glass exhibitions, residencies and masterclasses in Europe, UK, USA and Australia, and have gratefully been awarded various accolades for my glasswork along the way. Some highpoints were being an Artist in Residence (twice) at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in (Denmark) and also for one year at Wolverhampton University (UK).

Glass can be quite a complicated medium to work in with a steep learning curve which demands time, concertation, and ideally an unwavering motivation to keep discovering new things. Unlike many in the glass world, I happily to move from one glassmaking process to the next depending on how the projects manifest. Much of my glasswork covers a wide variety of these techniques, often emerging from experimental approaches and mould-making with hot and cold glassmaking processes.

Glass is everywhere, happily I find myself endlessly studying it and learning new things. I love sharing these insights in my ongoing teaching and technical roles. I have managed educational glass studios in both London and Melbourne and have my own fantastic glass studio in St Kilda, Shakespeare Grove Artists’ Studios.
