Renew my parking permit

Login to My Port Phillip online services to get started. 

If you do not have an account, you will need to create an account using your email address and a password.

If any details have changed, please update your account with preferred contact details and mailing address to save time during the parking permit application process

1. Select My Details
2. Select Communication Methods
3. Add Communication Method
4. Add Postal Address

1. Select the permit type from the drop down list.

2. Enter the address for your property and select the correct listing from our database.

Note: ensure you enter your address correctly and do not add any extra spacing if applying for an apartment or unit, e.g. 1207/3317 St Kilda Road, St Kilda.

1. Please select yes if you hold an accepted concession card 

2. Please enter your current parking permit number. Permit numbers are included in your renewal notification.

3. If renewing a combined, resident or foreshore permit, please enter your vehicle registration details.
Please ensure you do not include any spaces in the registration and that you use capital letters as per your registration details.
This will ensure you receive temporary coverage for your vehicle once you have successfully lodged your permit.

4. Please select 'I understand' for the declaration pertaining to supporting documentation and any permit fees.

You will be asked to accept the following Terms and Conditions

I declare that:

• I am authorised to apply as per Council's Parking Management Policy.
• All information in this application is true and correct
• I agree to comply with all permit conditions, local laws and all relevant legislation
• I agree to display the permit correctly as per the direction of Council
• I understand that an application for a Visitor or Temporary Permit does not cover any vehicle until the permit is received and physically displayed in a vehicle
• I understand and accept that there may be additional fees to make changes to the permit
• I understand and accept that a partial refund may only be provided if the permit has more than 6 months validity remaining and the permit is returned to Council
• I will ensure that the permit is not sold, transferred or assigned to another party
• I acknowledge that failure to comply with the conditions of the permit may result in cancellation of the permit, and/or a fine and/or legal action
• I understand that personal information collected on this application is in accordance with Council's Privacy Policy and will be used solely by Council for this primary purpose or other directly related purposes. 

Select the attachments tab from the left hand side and add the required identification.

If you are uploading attachments from a computer or laptop, you can do so by selecting:

1. '+ Add' button
2. 'Add file'
3. 'local drive' and selecting your file location and the correct document

Finally, add any other required files by repeating these steps until complete.

If you are uploading attachments from a mobile device, you can do so by selecting:

1. pencil image
2. '+ Add' button
3. 'Add file'
4. the correct format for document upload, either 'photo library' or 'browse' for other file locations on your device, or the 'take photo or video' camera option if you want to take a new photo of a physical document to upload

Finally, add any other required files by repeating these steps until complete.

Applicants who are required to pay a fee, will need to select the 'Pay Now' button in the top left corner, this will take them to the payment options.
Applicants who are not required to pay as it is their first concession permit will need to select the 'Finalise and Lodge' button which will submit their application to Council.

If your permit is about to expire and your permit details have changed (permit holder name, the property address, or vehicle registration for a registration-based permit), please submit your parking permit application on My Port Phillip by selecting "Apply for a permit" and then "Parking Permit - new application" on the home page.  For assistance applying online, visit How to apply for a parking permit.  

If your parking permit is current and has more that 8 weeks remaining and you have changed your vehicle registration, you can submit a change of vehicle request via the website or in My Port Phillip.
