Incorrect Road Rule printed between 29 June and 30 August 2021

Some parking fines issued between these dates were printed with the incorrect reference to the applicable Road Rule section number.

For more information, please check out our road rule information.

Mayor and councillors

Council sets the policy in relation to the effective management of parking across our city.

To ensure independent and fair administration of the system, the Mayor and councillors are not able to intervene in particular enforcement matters. This would be inappropriate and contrary to the legislative process.

Towed vehicles

If you believe your vehicle may have been towed for parking illegally, please view towed vehicles.

Note: your vehicle may have also been issued a parking fine. You will be notified at the time you collect your vehicle if an infringement notice was found on your vehicle.

Parking at Albert Park Lake

While Albert Park Lake is located in the city of Port Phillip, this parking area is enforced by Parks Victoria and not Port Phillip Council.

In the event you have received a parking infringement, you will need to submit your application via Parks Victoria's Car parking in Albert Park Reserve.
