Children’s Services integrated registration and enrolment system
Please note: This improvement will be rolled out in phases. The first phase involves the introduction of the new online portal for our childcare services.
For the second phase we will be introducing registration and enrolment for kindergartens. We will continue to update this webpage in the coming months with further information on the second phase of this rollout.
The new system streamlines your experience, providing easy online self-service options. We're delivering this service in partnership with Hub Hello in response to what our community has told us they want.
CSIRE is a centralised system where parents / guardians register, enrol and improve access to your childcare services through one user-friendly service at Council managed and community managed services run from Council owned buildings. The new system will replace the two systems we use currently (Quick Kids and Open Office) and provide a one stop tool that allows for:
- easier navigation
- contactless sign in and out
- recording absences
- booking casual days
- online fee payments
- daily record keeping
- child programs
- health records and immunisation reminders and more.
Simplifying these processes for childcare through a centralised system makes it easy for everyone to register, enrol and improve access to your childcare services through one user-friendly service.
CSIRE aims to improve access for all families, particularly those who are experiencing barriers or challenges that might affect their children’s participation in childcare and kindergarten services.
This program is in line with the mandatory Victorian Government Priority of Access criteria to childcare centres that are part of the CSIRE scheme.
