International Women’s Day is celebrated around the world on 8 March. It is a day when all women are recognised for their achievements. The theme for 2021, ‘Women in Leadership’, commemorates the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future.

This year we will celebrate IWD and Women’s History Month with several intriguing, COVID-safe events around our city.

Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for an inspiring 'Poster Project’ celebrating Women’s History Month in March that will showcase influential women, past and present, around the City of Port Phillip.
