To celebrate the diverse and vibrant City we all love, we are introducing a program of free outdoor entertainment and activities that everyone across the City can enjoy and that will continue throughout the summer.
We’re delighted to introduce Live Love Local Summer Sessions, a series of free pop-up events that bring entertainment, life and colour back into some of our public spaces in Port Phillip.
Summer Sessions has something for everyone’s taste from face painting to live music to a footy inflatables program.
Our events will energise and bring the community together in our public spaces, while increasing pedestrian foot traffic and economic activity in our neighbourhoods to provide a boost for our local traders.
We plan to host six fortnightly events over 12 weeks at selected locations across Cleve Gardens in St Kilda, Burnett Grey Gardens in Ripponlea and Town Hall Reserve in South Melbourne.
The Summer Sessions program embraces our post-lockdown freedoms while supporting a COVID-safe re-opening. All events are outdoors, bringing our community together, and driving foot-traffic to outdoor areas while supporting our local traders.
The diversity of our events reflects the diversity of our community. Whether you’re enjoying me-time or family time or catching up with friends, Summer Sessions has something for you.
