YouTube Project
Rawcus Flashmob at Federation Square

On 31 March, 2011, a flashmob of 400 people with and without disabilities descended on Federation Square. Conceived by Rawcus and directed by Kate Sulan (www.rawcus.org.au) and Clair Korobacz (www.onestepatatimelikethis.com), the flashmob involved individuals and groups from across Victoria. Rawcus is an ensemble of performers with and without disabilities based in the City of Port Phillip.Thanks to all the many wonderful people who made the flashmob such a success.
The Flashmob is part of the YouTube Project, a series of short films by Rawcus and FOG Theatre made for YouTube broadcast. Funded by the Department of Human Services (Southern Region), the films are being made throughout 2011.

YouTube Holiday Workshops

Over the holidays, arts workers Rachel Edward and Nilgun Guven coordinated a series of workshops for people with disabilities. The films will be online soon.
FOG THEATRE
Formed in 1993, FOG Theatre are an outstanding example of inclusive theatre. Well known for their percussion, dancing and improvisation, FOG Theatre members range in age from 19-60. FOG are currently making a series of films for the YouTube Project. For more information about FOG: www.portphillip.vic.gov.au/just_us.
