Youth in Chamber

The City of Port Phillip’s 'Youth in Chamber' brings together the students that participated in the Big and Little Big Cake Youth Action Forums to present back to the Councillors and a group of their peers about the contributions that have made both within their schools and the wider community. This is to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the students during the school year.

This event is based upon a regular meeting of council to give the students the experience of a council meeting. Students are encouraged to ask questions of councillors and in turn the councillors ask the students about the contributions they have made to the community.

This event competes the cycle of Youth Civic and Leadership Opportunities provided by the City of Port Phillip.
