So what is in the City Plan? Printer friendly Email to a friend   Rate this page

The City Plan looks at Port Phillip in terms of seven themes.

For each theme there are two maps, which show:

  • Existing -- this is what it looks like now
  • Projects - current and potential - This is what our current strategies and projects are

To show it from the neighbourhood perspective we have included two sets of maps for each of our neighbourhoods.

These maps pick up some of the most important activities and facilities available in each neighbourhood as well as what is being currently developed and planned.

Regional Role

What role and function does our city currently serve and what are we doing to facilitate this role as well as reduce some of the significant impacts on our community?

top

Urban Structure

What are the important elements of our current urban structure and where are we building and planning improvements?

top

People, Communities and Neighbourhoods

What is the current range of community facilities available across the city and by neighbourhood and where are we making improvements?

top

Land Use and Activity

What is the current land use situation in the municipality and where are facilitating change and protecting areas?

top

Open Space, Recreation and the Arts

What is the current network of open space, recreation facilities and art and cultural activities across the city and where are we making improvements?

top

Transport and Access

What is the current transport and traffic situation in the municipality and where are we planning and advocating to the relevant authorities and providers for improvements?
