Talbot Reserve under the energy-efficient flood lighting provides additional safety for all park users.

The path lighting of Talbot Reserve not only looks good, it also increases the perceived safety of park users.

Talbot Reserve has an upgraded playground, and also some lovely trees to sit under.

Located in St Kilda, Talbot Reserve's popularity has increased with the completion of all stages of the capital upgrades. Landscaping around the boundary and installation of new paths and centralised raised seating area and gently sloping, grass banks.

Pole-mounted lights, flood and up-lighting in various colours highlight mature trees and the neighbouring National Theatre and paths. The installation of lighting has improved the safety of the park and in turn increased its usage.

A new playground is located at the front of the reserve near Barkly Street and the National Theatre.  It's design utilises a natural element with timber decking, timber seating, mounds, small basketball court, swing set and a 5.6m high Corocord “Mini Space Net” - the first to be installed in the City of Port Phillip, it's a big hit with the kids.
