Port Phillip's streets are lined with around 30,000 trees, with several thousand more in our parks and open spaces. An important asset to our local environment, street trees embody the urban character of our city. Street trees in the City of Port Phillip have an amenity value of over $50 million and local real estate agents believe street trees can contribute to the value of residential property by as much as 20 per cent.
