St Kilda Triangle

The St Kilda Triangle is the area currently occupied by a carpark next to the Palais Theatre on the St Kilda Foreshore.

Babcock and Brown with Citta Property Group (BBC) were chosen as the winning tenderer for the Triangle Site. There is an existing legally binding contract agreement in place.  We are working with the developer to ensure they meet their obligations under the development agreement.

Centrepiece of the development will be the 3,000 seat Palais Theatre, refurbished to heritage guidelines. New major event spaces The Palais Forecourt and Catani Steps will be linked to the rest of the site by a series of lanes, promenades and walkways rambling through eating and drinking spaces, art installations, entertainment venues, retail outlets and open grassy spaces. The City of Port Phillip will control and manage the 15,000 square metres of public open spaces.
