St Kilda/Windsor Community Hub

The Betty Day Community Centre - 67 Argyle St, St Kilda -  is the key Community Hub for the St Kilda / Windsor area. The Centre is a much-loved facility of its current users and local neighbours and is home to many community groups and community organisations.

This centre currently undergoing redevelopment works as part of Council's Community Hubs Framework. Some of the features of proposal include: increased community space, improved universal access and facilities, and reconfiguring of the entrances.

Council facilitated 2 community information sessions in October 2007 providing community with an opportuntiy to review and comment on the proposed designs.  

Capital works commenced in July 2008 and are expected to be complete in March 2009. Further information will be available at Betty Day Community Centre web page.
