St Kilda Festival Push Stage

 

St Kilda Festival Push Stage 2012: important information for young bands.  

The St Kilda Festival Push Stage is brought to you by the Push and the Cities of Port Phillip, Stonnington, Kingston, and Bayside. This stage is dedicated to supporting emerging young artists. So if you live, work or study in the City of Port Phillip and 50% or more of your band members are in years 7 – 12 you could be chosen to play.    If your band would like to be in with a chance to perform on the Push Stage at 2012 St Kilda Festival please follow the link to application form and make sure that you tick the Push Stage check box. http://www.stkildafestival.com.au/callforentries/formcreator2/publish/formc/101

The St Kilda Festival Push Stage is brought to you by the Push, City of Port Phillip, Stonnington, Kingston, and Bayside. Each municipality nominates one local emerging young band to play at the festival. So if you Live, Work or Study in the City of Port Phillip, each member of your band is under the age of 25 and you would like to be considered to play ‘The Push Stage’ at the St Kilda Festival please email expressions of interest to mgoffin@portphillip.vic.gov.au   

Also, this event provides the opportunity for local young people to volunteer their time to gain music industry work experience. Various roles are available on festival Sunday if young people wish to learn about the workings of a stage at a major festival. For more information please email mgoffin@portphillip.vic.gov.au
