The City of Port Phillip has a wide range of sports facilities. Facilities provide for lifesaving, yachting, football, soccer, cricket, touch football, baseball through to the less intense activities like angling, lawn bowls, croquet and trugo.

Sports grounds bookings
The City of Port Phillip manages 14 sports grounds that are home to a number of clubs over both the summer and winter seasons. The grounds may be available for hire for small groups, clubs and organisations.

Albert Park Reserve

Swimming pools / Aquatic centres
Swimming pools are not run by the council and should be contacted individually for more information
Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre The Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) is one of Melbourne's premier leisure facilities. It serves as a training venue for some of Australia's premier athletes, hosts some of the country's most exciting sporting events and provides the public with excellent sporting amenities such as seven pools, a health and fitness centre, 10 basketball courts, 10 squash courts, a play creche and a whole lot more.MSAC Flow Rider
The Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre is currently considering the construction of a Flow Rider within the MSAC facility. Planning approval was recently granted by the state Minister for Planning, although construction of the Flow Rider depends on funding and other matters. St Kilda Police & Citizens Youth Club
The St Kilda Police Citizens Youth Club Inc. was established in 1947 as a non-profit incorporated organisation. It is operated with a voluntary committee. The aim of the club is to provide a low cost affordable, safe and supervised leisure and recreational activities for young people.
The PCYC still provides excellent service to the Port Phillip and surrounding community in the way of programs or activities, such as: Friday night youth activities, Homework support program (12-18), regular boxing, kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, weight training and recreational activities for young people at minimal cost. All other staff and other expenses are supported by income from club activities, sponsorship, grants and donations.

Tennis
There are several tennis clubs and centres within the city. Club and centre surfaces can vary. Some clubs can cater for casual hire while others only have membership. You can view a map of Tennis Courts in Port Phillip.

Skate facilities
Port Melbourne Skate Park, underneath the Graham Street overpass has been transformed and now includes trainee ramps, a fun box and fun box hip and a high manual pad. The skate park is under the cover of the overpass, so skaters will be able to use it all year round.
