Sports Facilities & Swimming Pools
The City of Port Phillip has a wide range of sports facilities. Facilities provide for lifesaving, yachting, football, soccer, cricket, touch football, baseball through to the less intense activities like angling, lawn bowls, croquet and trugo.
Reserves
Elwood Park
Ormond Esplanade, Elwood - Elwood Park offers five sporting grounds and accommodates Touch Football, Cricket, Soccer and Sub-Football (summer soccer). The grounds can also be converted to accommodate Australian Rules Football and Rugby League. Other features include three cricket practice pitches and training lights on the Wattie Watson Oval and Esplanade Oval. Pavilion with change rooms, public toilets, children's playground and off street parking.
Peanut Farm
Blessington Street St Kilda - suitable for Australian Rules Football and Cricket, there are two cricket practice pitches available. One Netball and one Basketball court are also available. Limited training lights available. Pavilion with social and change rooms, public toilets, tennis practice wall, children's playground and off street parking.
Alma Park
Alma Road East St Kilda - suitable for Cricket and Soccer. The ground can also be converted to accommodate Australian Rules Football. Pavilion with change rooms, children's playground. BBQ facilities, public toilets and off street parking.
Lagoon Reserve
Liardet Street Port Melbourne - suitable for Soccer and Cricket, there are three Cricket practice nets available, limited training lights, BBQ facilities, pavilion with change rooms, public toilets and off street parking.

Murphy Reserve

351 Williamstown Road, Port Melbourne - there are five fields: S. S. Anderson (2) suitable for soccer; G.S. Williams for baseball; A.T. Aanenson suitable for football and has training lights, synthetic cricket wicket, two practice cricket wickets; J.M. Woodruff suitable for football, turf cricket and has training lights.
Open spaces available, BBQ facilities, children's playground, pavilion with social and change rooms, public toilets and off street parking.

Sports grounds bookings
The City of Port Phillip manages 14 sports grounds that are home to a number of clubs over both the summer and winter seasons. The grounds may be available for hire for small groups, clubs and organisations.

Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre
The Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre is one of Melbourne's premier leisure facilities. St Kilda Police & Citizens Youth Club
The St Kilda Police Citizens Youth Club Inc. was established in 1947 as a non-profit incorporated organisation. It is operated with a voluntary committee. The aim of the club is to provide a low cost affordable, safe and supervised leisure and recreational activities for young people.
The PCYC still provides excellent service to the Port Phillip and surrounding community in the way of programs or activities, such as: Friday night youth activities, Homework support program (12-18), regular boxing, kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, weight training and recreational activities for young people at minimal cost. All other staff and other expenses are supported by income from club activities, sponsorship, grants and donations.

Skate facilities
Port Melbourne Skate Park, underneath the Graham Street overpass has been transformed and now includes trainee ramps, a fun box and fun box hip and a high manual pad. The skate park is under the cover of the overpass, so skaters will be able to use it all year round.
