South Melbourne Market Precinct Parking Guide

The South Melbourne Market has two free parking area's available for shoppers during market days. The ground carpark located at the bottom end of York Street (50 car spaces available), and the entrance to the roof top carpark is located on the other side of the Market, at the end of Coventry Street (301 car spaces available).

On non-market days (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday), parking is available but you will require a parking ticket on the roof top car park, (please refer to the ticket machines for parking costs).

Parking upstairs on the rooftop carpark or at the York street carpark at the Market can fill up pretty quickly over a busy market trading day. We want to ensure that all our shoppers can get to the market, park, and do their shopping without the frustration of having to wait or find a park.  Therefore we have produced a parking guide for our shoppers which can help you find a park around the market.
