We all know we need to act on climate change and make changes to our lifestyle to live more sustainably. But where to start? The solution starts at home. Join the City of Port Phillip's FREE Sustainable Living at Home (SLAH) program and see how easy it is to be part of the solution. As a SLAH participant you get the opportunity to:
Over three months, with lots of practical information from experts, free products to assist you, support from households involved in the program, and the confidence to take action, you will be able to make a difference by making your household more environmentally sustainable. Past SLAH participants were pleasantly surprised to learn how easily they could change their lives by making simple changes in small steps. You too can learn to live more sustainably - and do more while using less! Can I join SLAH?Joining SLAH is easy. SLAH is open to all City of Port Phillip residents. To join, you simply register your expression of interest in being a participant in the program. We will then email you with session times and dates and will ask you to confirm your expression of interest. Places in SLAH are limited, so early registration is recommended. SLAH is.running from February to June 2008 and will also in the second half of 2008. Dates and DetailsAll SLAH sessions (called SLAHminars) are held at the St Kilda Town Hall 'Energy Wise' - Wednesday, February 28 'Water Wise' - Wednesday, March 19 'Waste Wise' - Wednesday, April 9 'Travel Wise' - Wednesday, April 30 'Spend Wise' - Wednesday, May 28
All SLAHminars commence with refreshments and food at 6pm with activities commencing at 6.30pm.
