Our Service Promises 2008-09
The City of Port Phillip exists to provide services for the community that are equitable, accessible and meet customer needs. Some services are visible and well known while others are important for planning the future viability of the city.
We take pride in our service and want it to be the best. When service delivery falls below expectations, we want to know about it so we can constantly improve.
From a large and varied suite of services provided by Port Phillip, we have used extensive community feedback to identify 10 key services that you have told us are especially important.
For each of those services, we have made a series of promises. These promises relate to the objectives of the service and what our customers can expect from us. Supporting each of the promises are measures and targets.
We will report publicly on our service performance each quarter. Council will also use the promises to plan and improve its service delivery. We will also review and update the promises each year.
