Seniors Festival 2011
Introduction
The Port Phillip Seniors Festival is an annual week-long celebration run in conjunction with the state-wide Seniors Festival.
The City of Port Phillip Seniors Week has run from 10 October to 16 October 2011, with a couple of events outside of this time frame.
This years highlights included: 'Port Phillip Writes' Seniors Writing Awards, Seniors Festival Art Exhibition including Meet the Artists', The Mayors Tea Dance, Port Phillip Festival Forum, 'Life in Port Phillip' an old photographs exhibition and local walking tours, bus trips, luncheons, open days, seminars, performances and more! It's been lots of fun!
The Seniors Festival Art Exhibition is still open till Wednesday 9 November (weekdays).
**For the contributing Artists, please collect your art pieces on Thursday 10 November between 9.30am to 10.30am.
A special thank you to all contributing Artists and Writers and to contributions to the Old Photographs Exhibition.
A huge thank you to all of the organisations who held a wonderful range of activities and events.
