Road Repairs and Maintenance
The City of Port Phillip is focused on providing a service to benefit the community, which ensures the needs of users are identified and future demands are predicted and met.
Civil maintenance services provides maintenance of the council's infrastructure assets that assists in providing various services that are sustainable in the long term and comply with regulations that meet environmental health & safety and technical standards while remaining cost effective.
These assets include:
- Routine and preventative maintenance works on main and local roads, laneways and designated car parks
- Sealed road pavement maintenance
- Footpath paving, kerb and channel maintenance
- Construct and reconstruct storm water drainage asset and structures
- Remove and install linemarking, pavement markings, bridge maintenance
Notification of defects and requests for repairs
Pot holes or broken slabs of concrete on the footpath need to be reported so they can be repaired as soon as possible.
