Road Repairs and Maintenance

Council is responsible for maintenance of roads, footpaths and drainage systems to make sure the integrity of these infrastructures Infrastructure.   It also is responsible for contract management for installation and maintenance of bus shelters.

Infrastructure Maintenance Services Department carries out routine and preventative maintenance works under the annual operational budget and footpath rehabilitation works and road resurfacing works under the approved annual capital works programs.

These Assets include:

  • Signage include, street name plates, parking control signs, direction sins, etc
  • Street furniture, drinking fountains, bike hoops, etc
  • Bus shelters

Notification of defects and requests for repairs

Pot holes or broken slabs of concrete on the footpath need to be reported so they can be repaired as soon as possible.
