What is Reserved Parking?
Reserved parking allows people or organisations to park exclusively in specified areas for a short-term period. The allocated parking spot (which is labelled 'reserved') is exclusive to the person or organisation that received authorisation through the council.

When is Reserved Parking required?
Reserved parking may be required for a number of reasons including:
- Publicity events
- Commercial relocation
- Goods and materials deliveries
- Short term infrastructure works
- Resident relocation

Applying for Reserved Parking
To apply for reserved parking:
- Read & complete the
Reserved Parking application form (August 2008) and save to your computer.
- Fax your request to Parking Enforcement on (03) 9536 2747 *
- You will then be contacted by a parking enforcement officer to confirm the details of your application (including cost and method of reserving the parking bays). In most cases an on-site meeting is required.
- The council will forward an invoice to you in the mail.

Fees
Administration fee: $66.00 Plus costs as applicable for each parking bay:
- Un-metered restricted time parking: $25.00
- All Day parking ticket: $10.00
- Time restricted paid parking: $25.00
There is no charge for reasonable reserved parking in relation to resident relocation. However an application form must be submitted and approved.

Where Reserved Parking applies
Permitted vehicles are exempt from 'time limited and paid parking restrictions' (green signs) and permit, loading or taxi zones under special circumstances.
Permitted vehicles are not exempt from Clearways, No Standing Areas, No Stopping Areas and other red parking signs or other statutory regulations.
