Elwood Twilight Festival is back this year and promises to be bigger and better than ever!
There will be something for everyone at the event including local bands, roving performances, African drumming lessons, mini massage and a pet fashion parade. Shops will be open into the evening.
Santa will be making an appearance and an animal zoo, reptile display and craft activities will provide great entertainment for the kids.
“The Elwood Village community is to be congratulated for creating an environment where local residents, businesses and various community groups, can engage informally,” said ward Cr Jane Touzeau.
“Elwood locals particularly enjoy the twilight fiesta because it's fun, friendly, low key and theirs. The children really enjoy it, and most people walk to it!" she said.
The event is largely run and funded by local traders, businesses, community groups and with input from council.
